چکیده

The objective of the present study was to develop n-propyl gallate-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (PG-SLNs) in a hydrogel (HG) formulation using Transcutol-P (TC-P) as permeation enhancer. Modified solvent injection technique applied produce optimized PG-SLNs via Quality by Design approach and central composite design. vitro mucoadhesion, scavenging activity, drug release, studies PG from PG-SLNs-loaded HG were evaluated under simulated nasal conditions. Compared with release behavior SLNs, showed lower burst effect sustained profile. cumulative TC-P 600 μg/cm2 within 60 min, which is 3–60-fold higher than native PG, respectively. Raman mapping that distribution more concentrated having concentrations hyaluronic acid. assay demonstrated increased antioxidant activity at HG. Due enhanced stability mucoadhesive properties, developed HG-based SLNs can improve absorption increasing residence time on mucosa. This provides proof potential combining advantages for intranasal delivery antioxidants.

Preparation and characterization of thermoresponsive in-situ forming poloxamer hydrogel for controlled release of Nile red-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles. Nanoparticles (NPs) are cleared rapidly from systemic circulation and do not provide sustained action in most cases. To solve this problem, this investigation introduces an erodible in-situ forming gel system as potential vehicles for prolo...

Formulation and ex vivo Evaluation of Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (SLNS) Based Hydrogel for Intranasal Drug Delivery

Risperidone (RISP) is an antipsychotic agent and has low water solubility and nontargeted delivery results in numerous side effects. Hence, an attempt was made to develop SLNs hydrogel for intranasal delivery of RISP to achieve maximum bioavailability and reduction of side effects. RISP loaded SLNs composed of 1.65% (w/v) lipid mass were produced by high shear homogenization (HSH) coupled ultra...

Development and evaluation of coenzyme Q10 loaded solid lipid nanoparticle hydrogel for enhanced dermal delivery.

Coenzyme Q10 (Q10) loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) were prepared by the high speed homogenization method and incorporated into Carbopol 974P hydrogels. Compritol 888 ATO (C888) was employed as the lipid base; Poloxamer 188 (P188) and Tween 80 (Tw80) were used as surfactant and co-surfactant. Optimum particle size with narrow distribution was obtained as 152.2 nm for blank and 142.4 nm fo...
